Sustainability
lived daily
Sustainability is not just a buzzword for us – we live it every day.
From clever packaging solutions to regional partnerships to shorten transport routes: We are constantly finding new ways for good taste and a clear conscience to go hand in hand.
Our 5 pillars of sustainability:
1. Vision & Motivation
Why we take sustainability seriously
2. Climate protection
How we reduce COâ‚‚
3. Resources
4. Responsibility
Responsibility for people and the region
5. Making success measurable
Figures, data, progress
1. Vision & Motivation – why we take sustainability seriously
Quite simply, because it’s the right thing to do. We want to continue producing innovative and delicious beverages at a good price-performance ratio in the future – and that is only possible if we use our resources responsibly today.
Our aim: Our products must be worthwhile – for us, for our partners and also for the environment. That is why we are constantly developing solutions that are ecologically sound and economically successful at the same time.
2. Climate protection
– new ways for less CO₂
We reduce our COâ‚‚ footprint where it makes the most difference:
Packaging designed sustainably: From raw material extraction to recycling, we consider the entire chain. We not only pay attention to environmentally friendly disposal and a high recycling rate of our materials, but also lighter glass bottles, for example, reduce the transport weight and thus COâ‚‚ emissions.
Short distances preferred: Working with national and local partners reduces transport kilometers – good for the climate and at the same time minimizes our transport costs.
Logistics optimized: We pay attention to more efficient use of loading space and avoid empty and partial journeys in order to keep fuel consumption as low as possible.
3. Resources
– More efficient use
Resources are precious, which is why we use them carefully:
Recycling instead of waste: What can be reused is recycled.
Increasing the recycling share: For our PET bottles, for example, we have increased the recycling share to up to 70%, depending on the type.
Protecting biodiversity: A healthy environment is the basis for everything – including good drinks.
5. Making success measurable
– Numbers don’t lie
Sustainability goals without control are like recipe development without regular tasting – you never know if you are on the right track.
We therefore regularly check our progress in all sustainability areas and adapt our processes accordingly.
Our focus is always on measures that strengthen sustainability and economic efficiency at the same time – because that is the only way it will be permanently successful and Hauser will remain fit for the future.
The result counts.
Sustainability is not just lip service for us, but a daily practice. We develop solutions that are ecologically sound, economically successful and socially responsible.
Because at the end of the day, what counts for our environment is not what we promise – but what we implement and deliver.
4. Responsibility
– Social commitment
As a family business with many years of tradition, we don’t just think in quarters, but also in generations.
For our team: Health days, family events and a working atmosphere in which everyone enjoys coming to work
For the region: We support local partners and cooperations such as the Fischach Music School, the natural outdoor pool and the Dinkelscherben Business Association – because strong communities need strong companies and vice versa.
For the next generation: Every year, young girls get a taste of our somewhat “tart” areas of responsibility during “Girls Day.”
For everyone involved: Fair working conditions are a matter of course for us – not only in our production, but in the entire supply chain.
